Exchanges and returns<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

M. Guimar\u00e3es Novais & Maia, Lda, with its head office at Rua do Almada, 248, legal person no. 501057943, registered at the Commercial Registry Office of Porto – 2nd Section, with a share capital of \u20ac100,000.00, seeks to ensure the best shopping experience for its Customers.<\/p>\n


\n1. Right of withdrawal (distance purchases)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Under the terms of Decree-Law no. 24\/2014<\/span><\/span>the Customer has a period of 14 days<\/strong> after receipt of the order to withdraw from the contract, without having to give any reason.<\/p>\n

The period shall run from the day on which the Customer, or a third party indicated by the Customer (except the carrier), acquires physical possession of the goods.<\/p>\n

To exercise this right, the Customer must communicate their decision to:<\/p>\n

\n2. Return conditions<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Customer must return the goods within a maximum of 14 days of the notice of termination.<\/p>\n

The goods must be returned:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • In good condition<\/li>\n
  • In original packaging, with all components and accessories<\/li>\n
  • Whenever possible, in the packaging used for shipping<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The Customer shall be liable for any depreciation of the goods resulting from handling that exceeds what is necessary to verify their nature, characteristics and functioning.<\/p>\n


    \n3. Return costs<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    Unless otherwise stated, the direct costs of return shall be borne by the Customer.<\/p>\n

    M. Guimar\u00e3es Novais & Maia, Lda is not obliged to reimburse additional delivery costs when the Customer has chosen a more expensive method than the standard option provided.<\/p>\n


    \n4. Refunds<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    In the event of a valid return, a refund will be made of all payments received, including standard delivery costs (where applicable), within a maximum of 14 days from the date on which M. Guimar\u00e3es Novais & Maia, Lda is informed of the resolution decision.<\/p>\n

    The refund can be withheld up to:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Receipt of the returned goods; or<\/li>\n
    • Proof of shipment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      The refund will be made by the same means of payment used in the initial transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise.<\/p>\n


      \n5. Defective or non-conforming products<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

      Under the terms of Decree-Law no. 84\/2021<\/span><\/span>the Customer has the right to have the goods restored to conformity by:<\/p>\n

        \n
      • Repairs<\/li>\n
      • Replacement<\/li>\n
      • Price reduction<\/li>\n
      • Termination of contract<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        If the product is defective, the Customer should contact Customer Service for instructions on how to proceed.<\/p>\n


        \n6. Transport damage<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

        Upon delivery, the Customer must check the condition of the packaging and the product.<\/p>\n

        If there is visible damage:<\/p>\n

          \n
        • You must refuse delivery; or<\/li>\n
        • Register the incident with the carrier<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Signing the waybill is without prejudice to the consumer’s legal rights.<\/p>\n


          \n7. Exclusions to the right of withdrawal<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

          Under the terms of the applicable legislation, the right of withdrawal does not apply, in particular, to:<\/p>\n

            \n
          • Customized or tailor-made products<\/li>\n
          • Products ordered specifically at the Customer’s request<\/li>\n
          • Products that, by their nature, cannot be returned for hygiene reasons after opening<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            These situations will be duly identified on the product page.<\/p>\n


            \n8. How to start a return<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

            To start the return or exchange process, the Customer must contact us beforehand:<\/p>\n

            \n9. Recommendations<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

            M. Guimar\u00e3es Novais & Maia, Lda recommends:<\/p>\n

            • Confirm product characteristics before purchase<\/li>\n
            • Check the order carefully on receipt<\/li>\n
            • Keep the original packaging for the duration of the settlement period<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
